Opens late, 3, 4 am, and they’re still going strong.
All standard Western fare available (S$5), including mushroom and/or cheese omelettes (S$3), and a less “battered” dish called Blackened Fish. The Chicken Wrap with Cheese is really q. yummy, and comes on a bed of french fries.
Tommy’s also serves a variety of one plate tze char (Chinese stir fry, essentially) dishes.
Drinks are not too bad, though I prefer next door’s Fong Seng Nasi Lemak’s better. Sharing Tommy’s space is relative newcomer Chong Pang Nasi Lemak. The drinks stall sells fruit, and some traditional iced desserts.
Beside the Kent Ridge Terminal. Remember that the police aren’t likely to be kind to your car if you park illegally.

Close enough to Mohd Sultan and Zouk, at the junction of Zion Road and River Valley Road. Great miloais, wide selection of food. Manager wears long-sleeved shirts and the crew have smart black and orange polo tshirts, but the most obvious way to spot this place is by the number of cars and motorcycles parked illegally alongside. Amazingly popular.
Bit pricey for a prata joint, though.
409 River Valley Road. If you’ve passed the Liquid Kitchen sign on your left, start slowing down.

Business has been so good they’ve expanded, but food standards remain consistently above-average. Good prata, tehcinoais, also has Western, Thai, and Indian Rojak but ambient noise levels are directly proportional to the number of tables and motorcycles.
Cheong Chin Nam Road, opposite Beauty World.

Excellent crushed-ice milopeng, packaged “traditional” desserts (gwei ling gao, etc), sotong balls fantastic if just out of the fryer. They don’t close till 4am, sometimes, not even at 6am.
22 Clementi Road, next to the Kent Ridge Bus Terminal. Note: the Traffic Police love sweeping this stretch of road, though.
